- Plans are per user. Your account owners choose which users have Paid seats; every other user is on the Free plan.
- Limits apply to each user separately in each account. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next month or pass to another user. A user's counts continue when their plan changes during a month.
- A search is a request to find datasets (currently the
search_datasetstool). - A describe or query operation is any other tool call, such as describing a dataset or retrieving data from one (currently the
describe_dataset,distinct_values, andexecute_sqltools). - Counts reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC).
- Over the limit: we refuse that user's further searches or operations until the count resets or, on the Free plan, the user is given a Paid seat.
